The Plantation Golf Club was proud to host a golf tournament to raise funds for the Folds of Honor Foundation. The Folds of Honor Foundation provides scholarships for surviving children of service men and women killed or wounded in Iraq or Afghanistan. Spearheaded by Mike Langley, a Plantation resident and Plantation Golf Club member, the project raised over $4500. 76 golfers, 20 hole sponsors and a lot of help from Ashland Village residents of the Plantation made the tournament a great success. Plans are already in the works for another tournament in November of next year.

Once again this year the Plantation Golf Club is pleased to serve as the home course for the Leesburg High School Girls Golf team. The team will play 6 home matches on the Otter Creek course. Volunteers are needed to escort the girls to the driving range and around the course. If you can help please call Board member Jim Packett, 787-1766.
